Frequently Asked Questions
What is bevel laser cutting?
Bevel laser cutting uses a tilting cutting head to produce angled edges (typically 0–45°) directly during the cutting process. This eliminates the need for secondary weld preparation — parts come off the machine ready for V, Y or K-butt welding.
When should I choose bevel cutting over standard flat cutting?
When your downstream process requires weld preparation on plate edges, especially for structural steel, pressure vessels, shipbuilding and heavy fabrication. Bevel cutting saves significant time compared to manual grinding or plasma bevelling.
